Student Dress Code
The Medical Simulation Center simulates hospital conditions, therefore during classes at CSM, students are required to wear complete medical attire. Students have two options to choose from:
1. Medical workwear in any color and replacement shoes.
2. A white coat and replacement shoes.
We kindly ask that students bring their stethoscope, and optionally any other medical equipment they typically take with them to hospital wards. In accordance with the regulations of external institutions, healthcare workers are not allowed to wear watches, rings, bracelets, or any other items or accessories on their hands during work. Any bags, backpacks, etc., should be left in the dressing room. These rules also apply to students and instructors conducting classes at CSM.
Students are required to wear an ID badge displaying their name, surname, and field of study.
Failure to comply with these regulations may result in denial of access toclasses.
CSM and scientific clubs cooperation – principles
CM Centre for Medical Simulation is happy to cooperate with the NCU CM Student Scientific Clubs.
If you are planning to hold a class at the CSM as part of your student club activity/programmes such as IFMSA, YUFE, Erasmus, please send the following details via email to csm@cm.umk.pl:
- Name of the scientific club as well as scientific club supervisor’s details – surname, first name, phone number and e-mail address.
- Topic; scope of classes; type of simulation room and its equipment; link trainers, simulators and medical equipment.
- Suggested dates for classes and time allocated for classes.
- Details of the person who will run classes (surname, first name, telephone number and e-mail address).
Once we have assessed the feasibility of delivering the classes on the proposed dates we will send you the feedback. Only once you have such approval will it be possible to book the room electronically. The room can be booked by the teacher.
